1. Can I sign up my mate?
Yes! But if you are signing up on behalf of a friend, please make sure they know about it and have consented you to do so. We can’t have any surprises on the day which could result in drop outs and stress Cilla out.
2. Can I choose whether to be a ‘picker’ or one of the ‘three singles’?
Whilst we know everyone will have a preference, this makes the logistics of it a lot harder. So please only sign up if you are comfortable being either one, and if chosen it will be confirmed with you prior to the event.
3. What do I actually need to do when taking part?
If you’re a ‘picker’ you will be asking the three singles questions to help you decide who you would like to pick. If you’re one of the three singles, you will be giving your best answers to the pickers questions to win their heart. Cilla will give you the questions ahead of the show to make sure you have time to prepare your witty, romantic responses!
4. Do I need to go on stage?
Absolutely! It will be in the marquee and will have an audience watching. You don’t need to be the most confident person in the room, but please only sign up if you are comfortable speaking into a microphone in front of a crowd - Cilla will look after you! If you get unreal stage fright, tinder might be a better shout for you, not Blind Date.
